“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
God draws us through His creation for all to see so there is no excuse! (Romans 1:19-20 NIV) God drew the Magi the wise men to seek Jesus by a unusual star in the sky! We are light seeker in the storm staying focused Jesus. As I read Deuteronomy 6:4-9, I’m reminded even more how important it is to remind our children what the rainbow represents in scripture. The rainbow has many meanings in the world! But we must stand firm on Truth, a foundation that cannot be moved. We can not serve two ways of thinking because it’s a divided heart. There is only one way and one meaning. What do they listen to or watch the most during the day becomes their guide. How much do they absorb as real or not real? We need scripture to reveal truth so lies can’t be accepted as truth. The world is getting louder. As we help our children navigate the world they live in by standing on truth, God unfolds in a mighty and Beautiful way. As we live out His living words, our children will remember. Numbers 24:17 (NIV) We are reminded of the rainbow one of God’s promises to us! As we seek Jesus in every situation, our children will too and we will find Him everywhere we go! All we must do is trust in His perfect timing!
Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake their ways
