God’s pursuit for Us!

Psalm 24

The earth is the Lord’s,
and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;

(Psalm 2:8)(Matthew 28:18-20)
for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.

(Genesis 1 and 2)(John 1:1-5)
(Colossians 1:16-17)(Revelation 4:11)
Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.

(1 Peter 1:15-19)
(Romans 3:21-26)

They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.

(John 3:3-7) ( Romans 1:16, 3:23)
(Acts 16:31) (Colossians 1:13)
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.

(John 14:6).

(Proverbs 7:15)
Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?

(Matthew 25:31)

(Revelation 5:3-10)
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty
he is the King of glory.

(2 Thessalonians 1:5-12)
(Revelation 19)
God’s pursuit for us has never changed! Since the beginning, God has been on a search and rescue mission, because He is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14)! He loves us so much (John 3:16) God breathed life into us Genesis 2:7! He knew us before the foundation of the world was made (Ephesians 1:4). He wove us together in our mother’s womb and knows us completely! He knows the numbers of hairs on our head and his thoughts for us outnumber the sand in all the world (Psalm 139). In James 4:5, “Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously” God is the same yesterday today and forever not wanting anyone to perish!
Psalm 95
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
For the Lord is the great God,
the great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth,
and the mountain peaks belong to him.

The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.

Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
For he is our God
and we are the people of his pasture,
the flock under his care.
Psalm 8
LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory in the heavens.

Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?

You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.
You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:
all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.

LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
