Summer can shine in winter!

Timeout with Jesus in a world full of distractions and things to do!

Raising Children to be After God’s own heart in a world full of distractions and busy schedules is a blessing, and I’m so thankful! I can’t do this without God! Each one of my children are His and He made them in His image! All of them are so wonderful, special, beautiful and God knows them completely! He leads me to teach them as I learn even more on the journey! It’s Choosing to seek God and His righteousness! Matthew 6:33 NIV, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Being flexible because unexpected thing happen and plans change while the to do list grows! Praying God orders my steps and letting go of perfection. Choosing to live each moment everyday for God and to live out being a mom after Gods own heart while clinging to His ways and not my own. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

As a wife and mom of ten wonderful children, Winter showed up in a big way. My children were so excited to play in the snow! They demanded gloves, snowsuits, and boots. I tried pulling winter gear out but couldn’t get all of it out in time! So, I decided to give all of them a pair of mismatched socks and quickly went out the door. I was stopped in my tracks by my sunflowers! They were completely covered in ice and snow! They looked frozen in time! In all the noise, I had all my kids come see this amazing sight that you don’t see everyday! I realized unexpected things can show up and God has prepared us in His word how to be awake and alert! Keep watch! (Mark 13:26-37 NIV)We can see God everywhere! God wants us to be prepared not knowing the time or hour of his return! We need to keep our lamps full (Luke 12:35) and fix our eyes on Jesus(Hebrews 12:2).

In life, summer really can shine in a big way in the deep cold winter! We just need to be still and trust God with all our heart! (Psalm 46:10 NIV). In All the storms life can bring, we can see and experience Gods mighty hand working everything out for Good for those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). All we have to do is seek God in everything (Matthew 6:33)! We must keep doing good and not give up even when everything around you is struck with sudden storms! Galatians 6:9

NIV “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

The Journey begins when you allow Jesus to be the driver in your life! You live in surrender of your will for your life for Only God’s Will! God places a cloud of witnesses around us to keep us on the straight and narrow path. He lights the way so we know where to go! Even when a sneak attack comes out of no where to sweep you off your feet! You can be confident, God has you and will not let you go! God has set people around you to encourage and support you along the way! Hebrews 12:1 NIV, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us”

I’m praying for All Moms out there raising Children After Gods Own Heart! God bless All of you and your families!

Matthew 28: 19-20 NIV, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Mark 16:15 NIV, “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
